I am Celestina, the Prevention Family Advocate at Family Promise!
I graduated from Alverno College with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and specializations in Substance Abuse Counseling as well as Community Engagement and Activism. Before joining the Family Promise team, I was a Youth Development Professional for the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Milwaukee.
In my free time, I enjoy playing and listening to music, reading, cooking, and value spending time with my family and friends.
Role at Family Promise of Waukesha County
As the Prevention Family Advocate, my responsibilities are mainly to prevent families from entering homelessness. This includes financial assistance such as rental, utility, or car repair assistance, as well as any crisis that could lead to homelessness.
