PROMISE BUILDERS

The Promise Builders is for supporters who commit to a providing a recurring gift. This gift will ensure that families are able to avoid homelessness through prevention services or to provide temporary housing to those who are experiencing homelessness.

The mission of Family Promise of Waukesha County, Inc. is to help low-income families and families experiencing homelessness achieve sustainable independence through a community-based response

Why is there a need?

Waukesha County is facing a housing crisis. A lack of affordable housing, along with a significant increase in rent, has left many families without the resources to afford housing. Over the past year, we have seen a concerning increase of requests for shelter and financial support to prevent homelessness. Addressing this issue is important because losing one's home is more than housing. It is about family stability, education, nutrition, and mental health. Homelessness affects the entire person and family. 

Our goal is to make sure families avoid the destruction that accompanies homelessness.

In an effort to respond to the need, Family Promise is expanding our programming. As our level of programming grows, we are seeking supporters who will provide financial resources that empower families to achieve financial stability. 

Below are the different levels of sponsorship we are asking for. If you are interested in becoming a Promise Builder please fill out this form
 

This sponsorship will provide shelter to a family for two months​

Family Champion
$5,000

This sponsorship will provide shelter to a family for one month​

Family Advocate
$2,500

This sponsorship will provide rent relief for one family​

Family Ally
$1,000

This sponsorship will help with a security deposit for a family starting over​

Family Supporter
$500

This sponsorship will provide utility assistance for one month​

Family Friend
$100

This sponsorship will provide basic household cleaning supplies​

Family Neighbor
$50

Family Companion
$25

This sponsorship will provide laundry expenses for two weeks​
